It will be a metal bracket interfering with a motor?

Hello, I was not sure to include this issue in engineering or physics, but it seemed rather an electricity and magnetism question. I'm trying to build a bike pedal power generator. A stand of rolls will move the motor bike DC (also known as the generator) shaft. I understand that I need a blocking diode (with a large heat sink) and a voltage regulator and a couple of batteries 12V (24v engine is a) ... and a bunch of fuses in the middle (I'm not taking any chances, but I'm enjoying the attempt to build this). However, I have support the heavy motor / generator with a carrier. I bought two 4-inch exhaust U-clamps to keep the motor to the platform, but the media have a strong magnetic attraction engine. Will this charming (and the added metal bracket) interfere with an electric motor of the generating capacity? The motor is a 24volt, 22amp capable to generate a maximum of 350 watts, electric motor scooter-6D XyD permanent magnet motor, 2600rpm. Thanks!

The media will have little effect on generator. They are attracted by the magnetic field away from the permanent field magnets. But few humans are capable of producing 350 watts. 150-200 probably the best we can do. You may be better with a single battery 12v and 12v regulator. Permanent magnet motors can function as generators, but are not designed for that purpose, so they are not so efficient.
