Handheld GPS for bicyclist question?
I am looking to buy a handheld GPS unit, and it needs to be a model that can be mounted on a bicycle. The bike is a road bike, but I want to make sure the GPS holder is secure and will not let the GPS be damaged. I would prefer a Garmin GPS (particularly the Nuvi) because the screen is larger. Do you have any suggestions where I can find a mount or what would be the best one to use? Thanks!

*The person I am shopping for rides a bicycle and is soon moving to a new city (and therefore will not be familiar with the area). I want something that can not only be used on a bicycle, but also in a car.
You do not need the Nuvi by garmin as that one is for a car and not a bike...what you do need is this:http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=25600&subcategory_ID=4110 The display is easy to read and it will mount to your stem perfectly and do everything you need and that the Nuvi would do...you do not need a larger screen. you will not be able to securely mount a nuvi to your bike...wont work! The 605 will and it is made for the cyclists every need! Besides you wont believe how easy the 605 is to read in direct sunlight, I use the 705 and you will not be able to see a Nuvi in the same light, It would do you no good. trust me!
