What's the best kind of bike rack for my car?

I just recenly bought a cruiser bicycle and it's slightly heavier than a normal mountain bike. I need a bike rack for my car for easy traveling (so I dont have struggle with putting it in my car). I drive a Volvo station wagon, and I prefer the rack to hang from the trunk or the back of the car, not the top, but I dont even know where to start looking! Can anybody help? Thanks!

Since most crusier frames tend to have some curved tubes on the frame and large tires, you may want to consider going with a tow bar (hitch) on your car with a Hitch Mount from Yakima. Easy to use, low to the ground for loading and has a quick securing system that hangs on to the front wheel instead of the frame. Will also give you easy access to your rear hatch door.
