Is Kurosawa's seven samuria neorealism?

I have a question concerning Seven Samurai. I was wondering if it falls under the catogory of neorealism. i think it does i thought Neorealism comes from Italy with movies like the bicycle thief. so would seven samuria be considered neorealism or something else?

I don't think it qualifies. One key element of neorealism was topicality, the sense that you were watching something happening now. The neorealist films looked like documentaries that could have been shot this morning. Seven Samurai does have a gritty visual style and an emphasis on what poverty feels like (a la neorealism), but it's set in a semi-legendary/semi-historical past, and it depends on staged action spectacle in a way that owes less to neorealism than to Hollywood westerns. (Which, in turn, would repay the compliment by remaking the Kurosawa film as The Magnificent Seven.)
