How can I get a message to Floyd Landis?
20 years ago I had the exact same hip problem as the cyclist Floyd Landis. I saw several doctors including the doctor that had served as the orthopedic surgeon for the LA Rams. All of them told me I would have to have my hip replaced with an artificial hip. The one doctor that had correctly diagnosed my condition to start with told me that he could rebuild the socket with my own bone. The other doctors said it was impossible. I trusted the doctor that said he could do it and had the operation. It was very painful and took a long recovery but 20 year later and there is nothing artificial in me. The cartilige in the hip socket is all scar tissue and I have some pain sometimes but I can run, cycle whatever. I would like to get the information to Floyd Landis. It would be a shame if he was to limit his future in cycling with a poor choice for surgery.
Post this message on his official website. He'll probably read it after the Tour.
