A. The surgery for the Flex Fixed Knee basically is the same as for other total knee replacements. You will first be taken into the operating room and given anesthesia. After the anesthesia has taken effect, the skin around the knee is thoroughly scrubbed with an antiseptic liquid. The knee is flexed about 90 degrees and the lower portion of the leg, including the foot, is placed in a special device to securely hold it in place during the surgery. Elbow and knee joint popping, redness, pain?

For the last few years I've found myself sitting at a desk and i've noticed sometimes my knees or elbows will get red and there's some burning pain. After i stand up and move my arms or legs, my knees and elbows will wanna pop, and after they do, the pain wont be as bad. The problem is i noticed my joints pop very often now. The pain/redness comes and goes but doesn't happen all the time. Should i be worried? I was planning on seeing the doctor soon to ask some questions. Appreciate your thoughts.
