I got a bike speedometer but i didnt keep the instruction paper. When I turn it on it asks me for 4 numbers...

I know that the four numbers have something to do with the wheel size but I just dont know what. Since I cant find a name on it I cant go to its website and find what it means(it was a cheap target one and it has a bicycle on it). One of my friends said that theres a specific chart with the tire size converted to the four numbers necessary and that that chart would work for basically any speedometer. Is this true? Where could I find one of those charts? If anyone could show me a chart or tell me where one is that would be great. I have a 26 inch wheel. Or maybe its not a chart, its something else? any info whatsoever would be much appreciated.
