Motorcycle Helmet Your Life Your Choice

We hear it all the time, people saying they don't like wearing a motorcycle helmet. Many are fighting state laws that require riders to wear helmets. I have heard others stating that as an adult they should have a choice. Well lets look at some facts every state that has passed laws allowing riders to ride without a helmet has had large increases in motorcycle fatalities.

 What that means is every rider that rides without a helmet increases changes that they will die in a motorcycle accident. Lets look at one state. Florida has had an increase of fatalities of over 30% since they passed the helmet law. Lets face the facts motorcycle helmets save lives and the facts prove it. So which helmet is the best? The number one helmet for protection is the full face helmet. This helmet protects your head, face and jaw from injuries. The half helmets have proved to come off your head in 30 percent of crashes leaving the rider unprotected.

Remember never wear a helmet thats not DOT approved. DOT approval means it has passed testing standards set by the government. Remember if you are going to ride wear all protective gear to protect yourself from injuries. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't need a helmet.

Any time you ride wear your helmet and always make sure its DOT approved Too many die needlessly every year . Also wear rider protective gear for more protection. Always wear clothing that offers the most protection from injuries. Wear proper foot gear which should be heavy leather with non slip insoles.

If you run at a van with a crash helmet on at full speed can you compress your spine?

My friend offered me 20 pounds if I can put a large dent in his van door using a crash helmet and my own running speed. I think it's possible but can you damage your neck?

Quite possibly you could end up flat on your back for the rest of your life!! Get him to do it himself and you will video him at the same time and send it to Dump.com!!!!!
